I can’t remember the last time I saw a Bitcoin “scaling solution” that wasn’t a bank-like centralized service.

But P2P electronic cash was an idea whose time had come.

So while the Bitcoin community was finding any excuse to avoid scaling the chain, the suits were shilling “stablecoins.”

Tokenized fiat. Have your wealth disintegrate while people who hate you print more and give it to their friends.

Stablecoins have surpassed $315 billion in supply. The vast majority backed by government debt, held in banks, with freeze functions, and fully traceable.

While this was proliferating, the industry cheered.

We stopped shipping product upgrades to cypherpunk money, and now we have the electronic cash our handlers have given to us: dollars on rails, controlled by multinational corporations, suit approved.

P2P electronic cash will scale. It will be private. It will be unprintable. It will be sovereign. It will be quantum secure.

They can keep their fiat trash.

This week we shipped point of sale mode in the Quantus mobile app.

A merchant pulls up an invoice QR code. The customer scans it. Payment confirms instantly. Quantum-secure, peer-to-peer, electronic cash.
